Chinese design grad builds mini-home

A recent environmental art design graduate from Ningbo University in Zhejiang province, Wang Le has built a mini-home with a small 3.8 square meter log cabin and a height of 4.2 meters. The mini-house cost less than USD$1604.03, it has a kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, Chinadaily reports.

Wang spent 8 days assembling the small living space with a carpenter after she completed the blueprint of the home. The first floor has a kitchen and a bathroom; the bedroom and study are on the second floor. The second floor can carry four men weighing 65 kg each.

 

Wang’s log cabin will be situated in forests and parks throughout cities or rented to tourists at popular spots. The mini-house has attracted many visitors and is now being displayed at the Ningbo campus.
