Chinese visitors increase in Los Angeles

According to the information from China News, with attractions like Hollywood and Disneyland, Los Angeles is one of the most popular tourist spot for Chinese people in the U.S. Now, new attractions such as the observatories, museums and beaches are also gaining popularity.

In the newest report from Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board, over 580 thousand tourists had visited Los Angeles and the number is continually increasing. The number of city tours and historic site tours had exceeded the past theme park tours.

Instead of shopping, Chinese visitors tends to visit museums and beaches to experience the city. Now, tourist attractions such as The Getty museum, Griffith Observatory, and Venice Beach are listed as top tourist spots for Chinese visitors as well as Beverly Hills, Disneyland, and Universal Studio.
